Fancy putting your phone down for a while, having a good natter and making something beautiful with your own hands?
Join us for Slow Stitch gathering — a warm, friendly and relaxed session where we’ll be bringing back the simple pleasures and traditional skills that have been enjoyed for generations.
We will share a range of different stitches then use your creativity to complete a landscape of picture over a few weeks.
Whether you’ve never threaded a needle before, haven’t sewn since school, or you’re already quite crafty, you’ll be very welcome. There is no pressure and no need to be perfect.
Learn or revive traditional sewing skills
Meet new people and enjoy a good chat
Get creative without having to buy a cupboard full of supplies
Enjoy the satisfaction of creating something with your own hands
And the best bit? You don’t need to bring a thing.
We’ll supply the materials, equipment, ideas and encouragement. You simply come along, have a chat, learn something new and enjoy the wonderful feeling of making.
